The ultimate makeover, this now gorgeous piece looked to be beyond hope when brought to Roberts Furniture. Our client luckily saw the potential in the quality of the frame and opted to reupholster rather than replace and the results are stunning.

Nicky Somers of Roberts Furniture explained, “This is a fabulous piece. It was a family heirloom, originally our client’s mother’s, I believe, and is something that will now last for generations to come and can be updated and recovered time and time again.

“The frame was excellent quality, which is key. We resprung the seat and repadded the back. We recovered it with the client’s own fabric and the style, colour and quality of the fabric is just ideal. The stud detail and deep buttoning lend it that touch of sophistication that a piece like this deserves. It’s really lovely.”
